Who are we?

Geographers with no Boundaries is an Exitus Institute program who's mission is to promote the work of the geographer and the geographical science, tracing a connection between their projects, inside and out of universities, and society.

Our strategy follows three complementary paths:

1. Projects focused on the community;

Geographers with no Boundaries aims to work with applied geography projects, taking the geographical science where it is most needed. (Further information comming soon on the projects section)

2. Articles concerning the general public;

Information and analysis on current affairs - environmental, political and social - From the refined point of view of geographers. Geographers with no Boundaries strives to become a reference for all people, including the press, who looks for a level of information and analysis infrequently found on other sources, bringing the academic production closer to society.

3. Visionary actions;

Geographers with no Boundaries aims to bring the geographical science to society and show the geographer's importance through visionary actions, with different target audiences and subjects.

All geographers and geography students are welcome to participate with articles, ideas, criticism and sugestions.

Article submissions:

Aiming to trace a connection between the geographer's production and society, Geographers with no Boundaries is now accepting the submission of articles.

The articles concern the general public, and must be in an accessible language, non-academic, approaching current events on the geographers point of view and/or research results and other academic productions.

In case it is the author's desire, he/she can include links for other academic productions and essays on complete researches of their own on their submitted articles. Allowing the reader to find out more about the subject if it in their interest.

Word 6.0 or higher must be used, Times New Roman font, size 12, simple spacind and a minimum of 6500 characters, including the title, author's name, e-mail(s), educational level and institution. Maps, pictures and images must be attached to the e-mail on JPG format.

The evaluation will be made by the editorial council and the chosen articles will be published on the site.
All Geographers and geography students are welcome to participate.
